Mandatory Implementation of Saudi National Address for Shipments to Saudi Arabia
The Transport General Authority (TGA) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has mandated that all parcel and courier shipments to, from, and within Saudi Arabia must include a valid Saudi National Address or Saudi Short Address and effective 1 January 2026, courier companies will reject any shipment that does not comply with this requirement. This applies to all type of shipments.
Shipments without compliant address details will not be accepted by courier companies.

What is the Saudi National Address?
The National Addressing system consists of six main parts, they are: Building Number, Street Name, District, City, Postal Code or Zip Code, Secondary Number.
The National Address must be registered and active via Saudi Post (SPL) Available through:

What is the Saudi Short Address?
Short Address is a transformation of the long traditional address into a simple address created to make a unique address code that is easy to remember/memorize. It consists of 4 Letters (e.g. RAGI) assigned based on the postal codes and 4 Digits (Building Number ie.2929). see above illustration.
